Flame War

An intense, heated discussion, usually lengthy. Flame wars are often about an issue that cannot be solved, usually because it is often a mere matter of taste or opinion. Generally caused by Trolls posting provocative, Dangerous, or insulting statements.
Most flame wars are to be seen on Weblogs, Usenet and IRC channels.
