Tristero "is a project to develop standards and implementations for the primitive components useful in creating peer-to-peer web services. Each component is a reusable standalone tool which provides a useful function in a peer-to-peer network. Tristero is developing both the specifications which allow these web services to comunicate and interoperate and also implementations which can be used in peer-to-peer applications. The Tristero project is also developing concrete applications by combining these web services in useful ways." (from homepage) Tristero is primarily being developed by Brandon Wiley and Steven Hazel.
