I don't know about that FreshUI. I was search for a download manager a while back that didn't have spyware in it, so i downloaded the FreshUI one... But i never actually installed it because the download i was trying to get was resumable using wget anyway. However, now every week or two i get spam from FreshUI. I've just to unsubscribe without success, so just a heads-up for anyone considering it. It might be spyware free (maybe) but i don't know if it's spam free. -- Amw

Why did you give them your e-mail address? Or did they get it automatically somehow? Webfork

I think to download the software you had to give an email address and then confirm it by pasting a code you got emailed back into the page. -- Amw

I haven't used it much however, the more I do use XP the more I dislike it. XP has always been the OS I hope I dont have to use. For starters, I feel like it was designed for ease of use by children, 5 - 10 year olds and those over 65 years. - ABliss

That's actually a feature - it's a good thing. How often do you see in marketing brochures "so easy to use, a child could do it"? It means you don't need to waste time learning how to use the tool, you can just get the job done with it quickly because it's so intuitive and/or simple. -- Amw
