Also note that a lot of people are entirely unable or unwilling to block spam on some accounts, as there are very strict written and unwritten policies about blocking communication. For example, it is said that primary root email accounts need to be entirely accessible under all circumstances, so basically all forms of spam blocking but manual blacklisting cannot be used under such a policy. -- rack
