I got a hold of Jeffrey, who expresses continued interest in the project. We all have lives of course.. ok, you all have lives.. I clearly do not. <code> =) </code>.. he's been busy but explained that he'd like to add more information regarding servers like Apache, MySQL, etc which have special concerns. But first, he says, it's hard to find good information on hardening complex servers. He continues to explain that their configurations vary so much, depending on the admin's/user's/site's needs that it's hard to determine generic hardening steps that will work for everyone. ->

My perspective is from that of a user and not an administrator.. so I could only really add some ease of use ideas to things. If anyone out there has some good information or would like to involve themselves, fire off some emails in the right directions. -- rack
