Talk:Richard Stallman

From iA wiki

Who could deny that the chief benefit of computers is that they enable digital information to be copied completely faithfully and without significant cost? Who could deny this is of such great potential benefit to society that it outweighs any benefit that might arise from the founding father's legalization of copyright to "promote the useful arts and sciences"?

Artists wanting to protect copyright have no moral high ground. They lost that battle. Copyright is not part of the Information Age. Stallman is a genius, undoubtedly. - ABliss
