The Live.Com streaming libraries now mentioned use standard RTP/RTSP (RFC 2326), not the screwed-up RealPlayer version. MPlayer does have support for RealPlayer RTSP/RDT, but it doesn't come from live.com. See http://live.com/mplayer/ (scroll down to the "note about RealAudio and RealVideo sessions." — mlc
