Talk:Radio
From iA wiki
It is cool radio's are added. But how do we organize that? There are basically 2 types:
- Ether (the old, traditional way) which uses for example FM.
- Network, WAN (the new way) which uses for example internet.
- Combinations, which uses both way.
If you want to sort group 1 from 2, then what do you want to do with group 3? Group 3 is becomming quite popular. Since the number of links also ain't long, i suggest a Radio/??? (any name suggestion? ie. Radio/Links ?) where these 3 categories are categorized in 3 parts using the 3x = way. Then link to it from all the *Radio* entries. But perhaps there's a better solution. Any suggestions on this?
- I'd suggest, since we're a fairly international site, I'd probably make traditional FM stations their own catagory and then Network and conbination stations in the same list. We'd only list traditional FM stations if they had some sort of free speech/Pacifica style setup. Webfork
