Talk:Mozilla
From iA wiki
This page needs some sprucing up, particularly some info on themes, and a general overview of the history, motivations and direction of Mozilla. Tack on some info on the underlying collaborative methods and bug tracking. Mozilla really is a spearhead for a number of collaborative efforts from what I've seen ->
This page also needs a bit more description for all the Mozilla subcomponents.. just to flesh things out a bit. -- Sy
There is a special MozillaWiki, but I am not sure if it is an "official" one; I just added my wishlist there some time ago. - Just to mention it here - I am sorry i don't have the link here. - FloK
- I know the one you mention. Its primarily for developers, tho. Webfork
How about something on XUL also? A list of resources, tutorials etc? Gold

Microsoft has the nerve to say that it is secure and has "fewer vulnerabilities than windows". A retarded chimpanzee randomly banging away on the keyboard could compromise a windows machine in less than a minute. I could write a batchfile that could crash the harddisk. I can delete administrator files, create ghost accounts, screw around with the system drivers.
But do i need to do all this no.. Boot up windows and leave it on for a day or two and it will crash anyway, and ya probably be attacked by millions of viruses written by schoolchildren to kill the boredom of a classroom lecture.
Linux has always had a better, faster, cleaner and more secure kernel , with superior file-organization, process management, IO, networking, scripting, muti-user support and SECURITY. That, to me is what an Operating system is about.
But if candy UI and mutimedia is what you are looking for...Go for Windows..start Internet explorer and check your hotmail. But dont open any attachments, ...and wait...before you read your mail...update your Antivirus, update your firewall, download the latest security patches...reboot......get down your knees.. pray....go to sleep, wake up...lather rinse repeat...
And if you gauge by the number of security patches you download....You know how many known security loopholes are out there. If 10 are known and have been fixed..ther are probably 100s of them out ther..waiting to be exploited....
The simple explanation is..Japanese cars guzzle less gas...and Linux is MORE SECURE....
So till next time...
