I wonder since a quite long time about a good solution for HardwareManagement, meaning if you have many computers in the office (or at home) how to organies a database of all parts, peripherals and their manuals, which belong together and where there actual physical location is etc., Additionally to make it perfect i'd like to keep records of the UPC/EAN barcode which leads to the complete manufacturers information. - I just start implementing a small mysql db and print barcodes for my (rather small) organisation. -- FlorianKonnertz, 05-06-29
