Some would argue that perhaps "Etiquette" should be renamed "Online Etiquette", but I would say that many things discussed deal with real-world people and that the separation between "online" and "elsewhere" needs to be downplayed. E-Mail is in the "real world" nowadays. -- rack

I agree. I was never comfortable with "in the real world" or "in real life" type phrases. Is the following netiqette? "Whoever comes first across a site that requires 'free' registration, will create a 'guest account' using 'username' and 'password' as the username/password combination" - ABliss
