Pushed from another spelling: Decentralised here refers to the fact that there is no "master" server that sits between you and your requested files. That "master" server is what got Napster in trouble. It also provides a central, universal point of failure. If that server goes down, down goes your peer-to-peer network. Hope that helps. -- nw
