Talk:CAD

From iA wiki

There is a nice history of CAD software at http://www.cadazz.com and any edits regarding CAD software on Linux (or general comments) will be appreciated. Also any insider knowledge of developments in PLM would be nice.

Hi, i moved your comment to /Talk. Feel free to start a CAD entry. I know jack about the subject, but here's a lot of links: http://www.google.nl/search?q=Linux+CAD there's also a website called "CADastrophy" or something like that which seems to have a lot of in depth research available on the subject. However again, i know little to nothing on the subject. Elsewhere, i read SGI's IRIX together with various matured, expensive CAD programs allows the best solution with which one is able to do things not possible on Windows or Linux (like collaborative CAD). PRO/E currently runs on Linux as well btw. -- dpi
