Sub-Culture
From iA wiki
(Redirected from Sub-culture)
A sub-culture is a community of people that exists as a sub-section of mainstream culture. People within a sub-culture always share a common interest, and frequently develop their own history slang (language) and mythology related to that interest.
Sub-cultures are traditionally not tied to existing seperations within a community such as race, religion, business or politics, but those issues may become a part of it. With the advent of the internet, many sub-cultures have spread across the whole world, and people who exist within them can find others who understand them no matter where in the world they are.
