Sayings and Concepts
- Borg - To completely absorb and integrate something, often with callous disregard for the uniqueness of that something.
- Brain-Fart - A form of writer's block which prevents a person from forming the right word or remembering their original train of thought.
- CamelNotation - Smooshing together a phrase of words and capitalising the first letter of each word. Comes from Wikis that don't allow spaces in page names.
- Cruft - lack of maintinence
- Dangerous - Dangerous topics are those which are both discourse-wise difficult to discuss and are politically-incorrect-sounding. These topics are often at least bordering on Offensive to one of the listeners/readers.
- DOH - Exclamation of frustration.
- Fat Pipe - a fast network/internet connection
- Flamebait - Inflamatory message, sometimes with controversial ideas which some might find offensive.
- Googling - to search for something via Google.
- ^H - Used for humor, a poor-backspace character, openly illustrating a self-corrected error.
- Hacking Around - Semi-constructive play.
- Hunam - A detached reference to people in general.
- Holy Grail - Best possible scenario.
- Lag - Network slow-down
- Meatspace - The real world. Opposite of Cyberspace.
- Meh - An expression of dismissive unconcern.
- Newbie - Someone who is obviously not in the know.
- Online / Offline - status concerning availablility
- Pro-sumer - Something riding the line between the professional level and regular home user.
- Pseudonym - An alias or screen name.
- Sharpening The Saw - A form of practice by the repetition of a mostly-mastered skill.
- Train Of Thought - A line of thinking with multiple related topics.
- woot - An exclamation of joy
