A free P2P broadcast technology used distribute live audio and video which translates to a new way to listen, watch and broadcast radio and video on the Internet using P2P, but without the license costs of traditional streaming. This opens the gates to audio/video grassroot initiatives.
The open source application doesn't use much resources, supports popular media players (e.g. Winamp, XMMS), streams various audio formats (MP3, Ogg Theora, Ogg Vorbis, WMA, WMV, NSV) and last but not least it works though broken Internet connections (e.g. firewall, NAT, router).
