An open source web authoring tool originally based on Mozilla (more specific, the Mozilla Composer component) by Daniel Glazman of Mozilla Composer fame. NVU recently switched to being based on Mozilla Firefox. The application is meant for the Linux desktop, but is ultimately cross-platform while trying to be an alternative for Macromedia Dreamweaver. At this time of writing its in beta stage (0.8.1 being the latest release). Linspire sponsors the development.
