Key Pair

A Private Key and a Public Key used to secure communications between two remote users.

In online transactions, a key pair is generated automatically. Other services and systems may allow for higher key sizes that may enhance or allow for long-term security.

Generally, creating a large bit key pair (for an example unusually high 8192 bit keys) can take several minutes on slower machines.
