IRSSI

Irssi is a themable and scriptable IRC client for console use, i.e. it has no graphical user interface. It is coded from scratch and has a better security history than ircII and its' deratives (ie. EPIC, BitchX). It runs on a variety of Unices and also on Windows. Plugins, allowing additional features, is also available.
