An encrypted, anonymous, proxy network that connects to a centralized IRC server.

IIP may be a model for how IRC servers work in the future as current centralized solutions are constant victims of distributed denial of service attacks.

The official IIP network is not alive anymore, and evolved into I2P, but another one which uses the IIP software is available at invisiblechat.com.
