<i>This is a list of requests for enhancement which are not currently being worked on, but are interesting and perhaps scheduled for future review.</i>
A function that lists links to nirvana, e.g. links that point to an empty page. With that it would be more evitable which links should be filled in more urgently because of their appearance in the wiki. -- C-Keen
Maybe even base urgency on both the number of pages a nonexistant link is found on, and how "visited" that referring page is? Should wiki cleanup functions exist, they ought to understand the concept of knowing the existance of a #REDIRECT's destination. For a "page delete cleanup".. determine if the destination exists, and if it does not.. remove the referring page too.
- A function to show how one's own inserted text got changed. A form of notification system bound with the changelog system. This way one can see the evolution of "their work". This would allow the curious to see how a topic "they started" evolves. Even allowing a notification for one change after a text is inserted would be useful. Have this function exist only on pages not flagged as a minor edit when the interested party first inserted text.
- A function to pull up a history of a certain user's activities. Pages their have edited and their difflogs, their most recently or frequently edited pages, and the most content inserted in which pages. Being able to more easily pull up a dialogue of a user's activities is an administrator tool to help reverse the damage of malicious users.
- Intelligent page-locking and specific ownership of some pages. Name pages in particular would benefit from this, but a more thorough security model overall could have value.
- SSH or other active security measures.
