A cyborg is a hybrid creature, an organism that has integrated mechanical parts. A cyborg exists in a permanent state of cybernetic enhancement.

Early examples of using technology with cybernetic engineering include prosthetic limbs, artificial hearts, internal hearing aids or breast implants.
